WELCOME TO WILDLAND FIRE Hydrants
Where fighting wildfires meets innovation and efficiency.
Where fighting wildfires meets innovation and efficiency.
At Wildland Fire Hydrants (WLFH), our vision is rooted in a commitment to protect and preserve the natural beauty of our forests and the safety of the communities that call the Wildland Urban Interface home. We believe that by providing firefighters with innovative and efficient water pumping infrastructure, it will have a significant impact on the effectiveness of firefighting efforts, providing firefighters with options to help reduce the devastating consequences of wildfires.
In a world where swift wildfire responses are crucial, our Wildland Fire Hydrants revolutionize water filling, reducing vehicle fill times, empowering firefighters with an efficient high-volume, low-pressure water supply. Firefighting vehicles, large or small, should not take longer to fill than to empty. Reducing water tender filling times to under 5 minutes and fire engine filling times to less than 5 minutes for 5 engines simultaneously. This capability empowers local firefighters to pump and fill all arriving vehicles promptly, mitigating fire spread and safeguarding communities.
In our vision, we eradicate bottlenecks and vehicle lines at water drafting sites causing delays. Our systems ensure greater water access, empowering swift firefighter action, and minimizing fire impact. Most fire departments have limited wildland vehicles, necessitating mutual aid. When a fire grows, additional vehicles are called in, potentially having dozens of water tenders and fire engines. How will you prevent long wait times for water when a fire comes to your community or district?
Our ultimate vision safeguards homes and forests from wildfires. Our tools empower efficient firefighting, reducing property and ecosystem destruction. Resource Advisors (READ) advocate use fewer drafting hoses to prevent unwanted spread of Aquatic invasive species or diseases in critical fisheries habitat.
We envision united communities building resilience through collaboration, education, and innovative technologies. Empowering communities with options for proactive wildfire prevention and preparedness by having critical water infrastructure readily available to support maximum efforts in halting fire spread.
